It was by trying to help my friends in my teenage years that I discovered how much I loved to shape eyebrows. Despite this, I decided to apply for Nursing at the university, but it wasn’t long before I realized that the right path was to follow the voice of my heart.
At the age of 20, I attended the first eyebrow course in Brazil, Brow styling, which only confirmed what I felt. For the next two years, I’d visit my clients at their houses and, by the age of 23, I started my small business.
I used to hear from people that working with eyebrows only would not be enough to make my business successful, so I hired a team of 5 collaborators who offered other services – like manicure and makeup – at my establishment. The business grew fast. And after circa 8 months, the team was over 12 people and the company could also count with the help of another partner.
Over the years, my desire for learning has only increased and the simple design of eyebrows has advanced to permanent makeup. That’s how I jumped from one to nine certificates while the passion for transforming faces only grew.
In 2015, life took a turn. I met my Danish husband and my dreams, which until then were only about my professional life – to make my business grow and multiply -, took another direction. We got married after 1 year of dating. I followed my heart and I think it is important to believe that if you do something well, you can do it anywhere in the world. And it was with this idea that I got here.
Each customer is unique. Each one has a unique face and a unique history. My treatments are focused only on improving the eyebrows that the client already has, using its original shape as a guide for the ideal result. There is no perfect technique.
Therefore, I choose the technique that fits each client the most, even if it’s a simple design with tweezers and ink or something more permanent. My goal will always be to achieve a natural look, very subtle, because keeping the client’s expression and history is very important to me. I want to value the essence of my clients.
From 2016 until now, I gained a lot of experience working around incredible studios in Copenhagen. But I felt it was time to follow my dreams again: open my own business. Undoubtedly, all this courage and love for the profession are motivated by every smile, transformation and, above all, the happy return of each client.
